Part I (Semester 1)

Ecology and Pollution.

You will be divided into groups of seven.

Each student must do some research about one type of pollution and prepare a presentation to be shared with the rest of the group and the teacher (use Google slides and your school account).

Be prepared for a class discussion during our next lesson.

Think about which types of pollution YOU can reduce?

How can YOU help the environment?

Decide on one activity your group can carry out throughout the rest of the semester to promote sustainability in our school.

Part II (Semester 2)

Recycling.

Before the lesson, try to find out what Ecobricks are. You may use the links provided on our website.

You will be divided into groups.
Each group creates a blog devoted to their project. The blog must be updated every week by ONE student. Sign your posts and take turns posting information about your project.

You have until the end of the semester to create something for the schoolyard from Ecobricks. For inspiration and ideas, look at the links provided.

Here are some points you should start with as you plan your work:

How can you go about collecting plastic for your project?

What do you want to make? How many Ecobricks will you need to complete it?

How much time will you need?

When do you need to start constructing your structure?

Create a plan and timeline for your activities. Put it on your blog by the end of next week.
